Blackthorne Inn at Inverness in West Marin County, California.
The Blackthorne Inn provides intimate overnight accommodations

in a wooded canyon near the charming town of Inverness,
this unique structure resembles a giant treehouse. Crafted
from redwood, cedar and a 180-foot Douglas fir cut and milled
on the site, the Inn rises through fragrant bay trees to
sunny decks on four levels.
While the Blackthorne
Inn has five unique guest rooms, it is the Eagles Nest,
an octagonally shaped glass enclosed room perched high above

trees. For those who enjoy being greeted by the dawn, or
the moon and the stars, the Eagle's Nest is the place to
